There is a river in its natural state flowing from Lake Alasenjärvi to the bigger Lake Keurusselkä, offering nice opportunities for canoeing or rowing. Keuruu 25 km, Haapamäki 10 km, Moksunniemi Golf and Ähtäri Zoo 45 km, snowmobile trail network 8 km.
