We are the AnNo's, i.e. Annette & Norbert. Our holiday flat in Altschönau (730 m) is located in the middle of the beautiful Bavarian Forest National Park. The animal enclosures (bear enclosure) can be reached on foot in about 20 minutes. The treetop path is approx. 1.5 km away. You can buy things for your daily needs in Neuschönau (approx. 3.0 KM). There is an EDEKA supermarket with bakery and a local butcher's shop. There are also a number of restaurants in Neuschönau. The larger towns such as Freyung, Grafenau and Spiegelau are only 10 - 20 minutes away by car. The beautiful Danube city of Passau is also only 50 minutes away. The IGEL bus 603 and bus 602 (timetables are available in the apartment) are in the immediate vicinity. Here you can get to Grafenau or to Spiegelau, Neuschönau, Mauth and Finsterau. With the guest card that you receive from us, you can use both the buses and the forest railway free of charge. The use of the garden with deckchairs, parasol and garden furniture invites you to linger and relax. A barbecue and a cosy garden shed, which can even be heated, are also available. From the house you can immediately enjoy the marvellous nature with its fauna, animals and wonderful views into the distance on the numerous hiking trails. In winter, the cross-country ski trails are within walking distance (approx. 300 -400 m). The 5 x room top floor holiday flat is approx. 105 m² in size. Two of the bedrooms are each equipped with a double bed 1.80 x 2.00 m, as well as a third bedroom with two single beds 0.90 x 2.00 m, wardrobes etc.. For the very "little ones" up to 3 years we can also provide a travel cot and a high chair free of charge. The living room has a cosy sitting area, LED TV with satellite connection and an electric fireplace, which not only depicts a romantic fire, but also warms the room if necessary. The apartment has a separate kitchen room with a new fitted kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped. It has a dishwasher, oven, ceramic hob, fridge with freezer compartment, coffee machine (alternatively a coffee machine for instant coffee) etc. The two bathrooms are equipped with a washbasin, mirror or mirrored bathroom cabinet, WC and shower. One bathroom also has a bathtub. Most of the rooms also have a balcony. The flat is suitable for 1-6 persons. Your dog is also a welcome guest. Fast Internet access with free WLAN (50 MB) is of course available!
