The sea is of course open all year round, 24 hours a day, so you can jump in at your leisure, even in the winter months. The special feature is that they have really small paths, especially to the beach, ideal for families with big and small children. In the front area you will find shops, restaurants, a super ice cream parlour, a diving school, a fitness studio and physiotherapy. The beach is fine sandy and darker, so it retains the heat for longer and, depending on the time of day, you may need "chanclas" (slippers) to cross it. In front of the water, the beach is sometimes fine sandy and sometimes pebbly, depending on the sea currents. You can take wonderful walks on the beach or go jogging on the promenade. The surrounding area and climate are characterised by the influence of the Sierra Nevada at an altitude of around 3,500 metres. This means that the winter is not too cold and the summer not too hot. It is not for nothing that Torrox Costa is called the best climate in Europe. Thanks to the many flat blocks and the low level of hotel tourism, you also have a functioning, super pleasant infrastructure, even in the off-season!
