In the heart of the oldest part of Borgio Verezzi, a few minutes' walk from the sea, is Casa Alda, rustic and cosy. Casa Alda, independent from heaven to earth, is located right next to the church of San Pietro Apostolo. The entrance opens onto a private garden, intimate and well-kept, with a small table to enjoy slow moments in the open air. A chestnut pergola welcomes the vine shoots, providing natural shade and a touch of poetry to the setting. A stone staircase leads to the living area with a concrete kitchenette and oak furniture, where every detail recalls simplicity. A scenic white iron spiral staircase connects the two levels of the house, both characterised by vaulted ceilings that lend an authentic atmosphere. On the ground floor is the bedroom, with two single beds that can be joined or kept separate as required. The brick bathroom is particularly characteristic, with a brick shower that recalls the rustic style of the hamlet. Given the presence of rather steep stairs, the presence of children is not recommended. A special place, where you can experience a stay between history, nature and the sea. Borgio Verezzi is one of the most charming villages on the Ligurian Riviera, a small jewel set between the blue of the sea and the green of the hills. Walking through Verezzi one has the impression of being in a living nativity scene: narrow alleys, pink stone houses, breathtaking views of the sea. In summer, the village comes alive with the famous Theatre Festival, which transforms the suggestive Piazza di Sant'Agostino into a stage under the stars, among the most beautiful in Italy. The centre of Borgio Verezzi, on the other hand, welcomes us with its sand and pebble beaches and pleasant seaside promenade. A few steps away are the Grotte (caves), considered among the most colourful in Italy, an underground world of stalactites and stalagmites that enchant adults and children alike.
