The former country house on the west side of La Palma is located directly on the Cruz Chica at an altitude of approx. 350 metres in the middle of the Aridane Valley, La Laguna is a great starting point for hikes and island highlights. The town centres of Los Llanos and El Paso are 7 minutes away by car. There is a small supermarket in the immediate neighbourhood. The beach and harbour are 15 minutes away. If you are not travelling by car, there is a bus stop nearby. At the rear of the house is the terrace, where you can enjoy sunbathing under the old palm trees at the dining area or on the sun loungers. Let your gaze wander through the orange trees over the Atlantic Ocean and the mountains of the Cumbrecita. Enjoy the peace and quiet with a sundowner and marvellous sunsets. Walk past the fountain through part of the lovingly landscaped botanical garden and head straight for the 60 square metre typical Canarian country house. It is cosily furnished and has everything your heart desires, including a fully equipped kitchen with hob, oven and dishwasher, a bedroom with a 1.60 m bed, a living room with sofa bed and two bathrooms with shower. Internet is available. You have the new volcano at your back and a view to the left over the cactus garden to the newly created lava field. 4000 square metres of land are home to strelizia, hibiscus, bougainvillea and much more, as well as our old organic plantation with oranges, avocados, bananas and several other fruit trees. A vegetable garden is in the works.
