The snow-covered valley descent leads back to the cable car station. Pleasant walks, e.g. sections of the typical Valais bisses (bisses) waterways. The Bisse de Saxon leads directly past the chalet and on via Nendaz to Vercorin. Total trail network around 150 km. Interesting excursion possibilities due to the location in the border triangle Switzerland - Italy - France, e.g. with the Mont Blanc Express to Chamonix, or over the Great St. Bernard Pass into the Italian Aosta Valley.
