You live in the centre of the village, embedded in the green nature of the beautiful Westerwald above the Wiedtal. With a very beautiful view over the Fockenbach valley and into the countryside. A small garden shed with table and seating furniture and barbecue is also available. The holiday home is an old farmhouse from 1911 and has approx. 100 sqm. The house was lovingly renovated by us from 2023 to 2024. There are several bedrooms. In a large living room there is also a cosy sofa bed, which can accommodate two more people. The well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher etc. has everything you need to prepare meals. There is a spacious bathroom with bath, shower and WC, and a washing machine is also available. All in all, a flat to feel at home in. Arrival is possible from 4 pm or by arrangement. Departure must be by 10 am or by arrangement. With short distances to the Rhine, Moselle and Ahr, the butterfly garden, museums, Sea -Life, Drachenfels, Rommersdorf Abbey, Maria Laach on Lake Laach, the world's largest cold water geyser in Andernach, Arenfels Castle, Neuwied Zoo, Linz Castle with Roman glass blowing, Stone Age Museum Morepos Castle, Wiedtalbad with sauna worlds in Hausen, Kristall-Rheinpark-Therme in Bad Hönningen, Krippenwanderweg and Christmas village Waldbreitbach. Hachenburg with its museum and brewery is well worth a visit. There is the car ferry in Linz and Rheinbrohl and the new Roman Limes Museum in Rheinbrohl. Hikes into the romantic side valleys (Focken-Els-, Wall- or Masbachtal) offer plenty of variety. On the Finkenberg, on the Westerwaldsteig or on the Hardtskopf near Verscheid, a launch site for hang-gliders and paragliders with a view invites hikers to take a break. The Bärenkopfweg and the Klosterweg are also not far away.
