Sole Mare seaside apartments is a small, family run hotel which consists of 3 sunset view studios and 4 apartments. The hotel is located in front of the sea , in the picturesque village of Kato Gouves. Our apartment consists of a bedroom ,a living room with kitchenette and a bathroom with shower . There is an open plan living room with a sofa which can be converted to a double bed, a dining area and a kitchenette. The bedroom offers a double bed (160*200) and AC. There is also a spacious balcony with outdoor lounge furniture. it is the perfect space to unwind and enjoy the sea view with a glass of local wine. Our guests have free access to the next door hotel's pool Kato Gouves (or simply known as Gouves) is a popular holiday resort located 18km east of Heraklion, in the foothills of mount Ederi. In contrary to the neighboring crowded resorts Malia and Hersonissos, Gouves offers peaceful holidays, ideal for families with children and elderly people. Here you will find mostly families that enjoy the beautiful sandy beaches, close to all necessary facilities. The beach of Gouves is very well organized with umbrellas, sunbeds, lifeguard, diving centers, water sports, showers, changing rooms, etc. The sea has fine sand and shallow water, but is open to the frequent north winds. Therefore, there are several small piers and small marinas nearby, where you can swim, protected by the waves.
