Beautiful old Dutch towns with charming architecture just a few minutes away by car, e.g. Medemblik - 5 km - old and new sailing harbour - Hoorn 20 km - Enkuizen - 25 km - with harbour and Zuiderzee Museum worth seeing - or even Amsterdam 60 km, indescribably beautiful. For children there is a large private playground with a kiosk within walking distance of our small children's playground, free entry for Vislust guests. Coffee terrace and many highlights for the kids, such as trampolines, large slides, wooden railway, swings and and and - which can be used free of charge by our small + large guests. Three kilometres away is an indoor swimming pool with water slide - indoor playground in Medemblik - for children up to 16 years approx. 5 km away. The nearest harbour is here - historic railway station for the historic train to Hoorn and the long dyke with jetty for boat trips. In Enkuizen there is another large indoor swimming pool directly adjacent to a fine sandy beach by the sea. Spokjesland, also in Enkuizen, for children up to the age of 12, is a popular attraction for young families or grandparents with grandchildren.
