Kalmar has some historical buildings, many restaurants, bars, shops and a supermarket. The second-largest island in Sweden, Öland, has a fabulous natural landscape. The island is accessed over a six-kilometre-long bridge and is about 25 minutes from the house. Close to Snärjebäcken with fine rainbow fishing. A number of nice swimming areas within 0.5 -2 km, grocery store, pizzeria and café within 4-6 km. The small protected archipelago is perfect for kayaking. Kayaks can be booked or rented on site subject to availability. The Kalmarsund Trail passes near the house. Smoking is only permitted outdoors. Pets are allowed, but must be quiet and kept on site. Free fishing in the sea. Fishing equipment and life jackets are included. There are many pike and perch. Prohibition of fishing perch and pike in April-May.
