There are only two other holiday homes nearby, and all three properties have belonged to the same family for generations. The plots were originally carved out from the old strandfogedgård (the coastal warden’s farm), and the site has retained its authentic West Jutland holiday home charm. You won’t find any densely packed holiday home developments or close neighbors here. Instead, you have nature, the open sky, and the sound of the ocean waves almost entirely to yourselves. Spacious holiday home with room for the whole family Spanning 156 m² across two floors, this holiday home accommodates up to 10 people plus a small child. There is plenty of space for large families, multiple generations, or groups of friends looking to vacation together. The heart of the house is the large, light-filled kitchen-living area, featuring ample space around the dining table. It is the perfect spot to gather for cooking, cozy dinners, or board games, while the wood-burning stove adds warmth and atmosphere on cooler evenings. The kitchen is well-equipped, featuring a ceramic hob, oven, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, and dishwasher. The ground floor includes two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a sauna, and a living area. Upstairs, you will find two additional bedrooms and a cozy alcove with a double bed. There is also a guest toilet and a small, bright living area with access to a balcony, where you can enjoy the fresh sea air and views of the dune landscape. The nearby towns of Harboøre, Thyborøn, and Lemvig feature charming harbor settings, restaurants, shops, and activities for the whole family.
