This holiday apartment is situted in a multi-storey building in a fairly new district. It is near Playa de Los Locos, a popular municipal beach in Torrevieja. The Spanish come on vacation here, so it has an authentic Spanish character. The property is just far enough from the beach promenade that you can enjoy peace and quiet at night. The building is next to a little church which has marble benches on either side, where you can sit and enjoy the views of the sea. Stairs or a ramp lead to your apartment on the raised ground floor, which provides 80m² of space and comprises two bedrooms, a cosy living and dining room, an open and fully-equipped kitchen and a daylight bathroom. The first bedroom has a double bed (160 x 200cm) with bedside tables and reading lamps on either side, the second bedroom is suitable for up to three guests and has a bunk bed with a single bed above (80 x 200cm, also suitable for an adult) and a fold-out double sofa bed below (160 x 200cm). After a day trip you can relax in the living room on a sofa bed, with satellite TV, a DVD player and a TV USB port providing entertainment in the evening. A sixth person could sleep on the living room sofa or on a supplementary guest bed. You go past the round dining table to the open kitchen space, which enables convenient self-catering with a dishwasher, a four-zone induction hob, a microwave with an oven and convection function, a fridge-freezer, a kettle, coffee machine and toaster. The bathroom is fitted with a bath with a sliding shower screen, a WC, a washing machine and a washbasin with a big mirror. Free Wi-Fi Internet access is available and there is payable air conditioning in the living room, which can also be used for heating, or you can use the ceiling fans free of charge, with electricity included in the rental price. The first bedroom grants opens onto the patio in the exclusive little inner courtyard outdoors. Smoking is permitted here. Free public parking is available close by. Step outside your door and you will find yourself in the hustle and bustle of Spanish life. The town is characterised by the very casual Spanish motto of "vivir y dar vivir" (live and let live). Enjoy Flamenco, Cuban and Brazilian culture and music, well-priced restaurants, clubs, even purely Spanish disco for all ages, many grocery shops and supermarkets, all located within walking distance of the property. Playa de Los Locos - the crazy beach – got its name because there was a mental asylum here in the past. This quite new district on the outskirts adjoins a breathtaking cliffs landscape with a stunning view and quiet spots if you go a big higher up. The sandy beach is only 180 metres away. If you are interested in day trips in the area, it is just 2km to the bus station with long-distance connections, or 5 minutes to the municipal bus that stops right by the beach promenade. Although dogs are forbidden on the beach in Spain, there are natural beaches in the cliffs landscape where they can run around.
