Our holiday flat, newly furnished and renovated in January 2020, is only about 300m from the historic town centre. The "High Fens", the Eifel National Park and the Rursee are within reach! This flat can be combined very well with the holiday flat in the attic if the number of guests is 6-8 persons !!! A car parking space belongs to the holiday flat. The cosy and lovingly furnished flat above the roofs of Monschau has a living space of approx. 80 sqm and is suitable for 4-5 persons. There is a bathroom with shower and toilet, a bedroom with a double bed and a single bed and a second bedroom with 2 single beds, the foot ends are open. The kitchen is equipped with a cooker with ceramic hob, oven, fridge, freezer, toaster, coffee machine, kettle and sufficient tableware/coffee service, glasses and cutlery for 5 people. In the living room there are 2 cosy sofas, a satellite TV and a radio with CD player. There is also a large dining table for at least 5 people. WLAN in the entire flat. The nearest larger shops such as Aldi, Lidl, Drogeriemarkt, Real, Dänisches Bettenlager, KIK, Ernstings Familie, DEPOT, and Kaufland can be reached in approx. 3km in the neighbouring village of Imgenbroich. You will also find doctors and a pharmacy there. You can start beautiful hikes right on the doorstep. As you always "climb" a hill around Monschau, you have a different marvellous view over picturesque Monschau every time. We will be happy to give you information about the hikes and from where you can enjoy the best views :-)) The Eifel National Park with its Vogelsang Castle and the Dreiborn plateau can be reached by car in approx. 25 minutes. Lake Rursee is also worth a visit, about 35 minutes away by car. The old cloth-making town of Monschau has a lot to offer: the red house, the mustard mill with its own restaurant, the castle where the famous classical music festival takes place every year, the quaint half-timbered houses along the Rur, small alleys that invite you to stroll and a variety of restaurants and cafés.
