Villa Dol is self catering accommodation located in Dol, at Brač Island. Private parking is provided, reservation is not required.
This 200-year-old Dalmatian house was renovated in a traditional style, made of stone and surrounded by olive trees and beautiful garden, spread on 1500 m2. With pool and a beautiful view it makes unique combination of wilderness and human-made features suitable for secluded adventure, romantic excursions, family holidays and numerous variety of trips and exploration.
Villa is secluded, on the hill above the village, and provides privacy and intimacy. There is a garden in front of the house with organic vegetables and colorful flowers. Both inner and outer space provide peaceful and environmentally friendly accommodation, due to its location and natural surroundings which include vast diversity of flora and fauna. You can relax in the front of the house which has extensive stone terracing and a swimming pool with outside shower, sunbeds and parasol. Also, there is a table in the barbecue area and a smaller table in the shade of the tree in front of the house. The terrace made of stone is equipped with old-fashioned fireplace, including traditional Dalmatian bell for baking bread and preparing food.
This lovely villa is situated on the ground and the first floor. On the 1st floor of the villa, there is 1 bedroom with king size double bed and 1 bedroom with twin beds. Also, there is 1 bedroom with king size double bed on the ground floor. Restored furniture and hand-made lamps are in all rooms which makes them unique and enjoyable. Spacious bathroom on the first floor, includes shower enclosure, toilet with bidet and two lavatories. Bathroom on the ground floor includes shower enclosure,toilet, lavatory and washing machine. There are cupboards and shelves in each bathroom. Towels and linen are provided and maid service is optional. Kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, dishwasher, microwave, espresso machine, fridge with freezer, cooker with oven, toaster and rice cooker, cattle and blender. Kitchen also has a beautiful rustic stone sink. Living and dinning room create great atmosphere thanks to hand-made lamps and wisely chosen literature (Eco-friendly books and travel guides) in order to present to guests basic ideas on culture of Brac. Sunbeds and sun umbrellas are provided.
Dol is small peaceful village, one of the oldest settlements on Brac. The nearest beach is in Postira, 2km far. It takes 5 min by car, 10 min by bike and 30 min on foot. Big supermarkets are in Supetar, as well as banks, hospital, pharmacy and rent-a-car service. In Postira you can find cash machine, grocery shops and a market. There are three gas-stations available on the island: in Supetar, Milna and Sumartin.
Restaurants are tavern Toni in Dol, (3 min on foot), tavern Kopacina in Donji Humac, approx. 12 km and Senjkovic wine-celler in Dracevica, 14 km.
It is recommended to have a car since Brac is the 3rd largest island in Croatia and with many interesting sights to explore. The nearest bus station is located 200 m away from the property. The closest airport is international airport in Split. The ferry ride is 50 minutes long plus additional 20 minutes car ride from Supetar to Dol. There is also a small airport in Brac, for charter flights.

En un mot génial !! Quelle belle maison avec tout le confort qui avait l'air séduisante ! Une belle vue, une belle piscine avec de jolies chaises longues et sans oublier la cuisine extérieure où l'on pouvait aussi s'asseoir. L'hôtesse était très gentille, très serviable et nous ne manquions de rien ! Il y avait une bouteille de vin, un bol de fruits et un délicieux café prêts à être utilisés. Une maison que nous pouvons recommander à tout le monde.
Un endroit merveilleux où séjournerNous avons vraiment apprécié notre deuxième séjour à la Villa Dol, c'est une très belle villa dans un endroit paisible et charmant, le village de Dol a deux excellents restaurants à quelques minutes à pied et le plus grand village de Postira est à une courte distance, la piscine est super, tout comme l'espace extérieur et la cuisine extérieure avec barbecue, Ivana vous permet d'utiliser tous les légumes et herbes qui poussent dans le jardin,
La maison la plus authentique et confortable de PostiraSituée seule, et pourtant pas dans l'arrière-pays, les restaurants sont accessibles à pied, avec vue sur la mer, ici vous pourrez vous détendre, l'accueil est très doux et personnel, dans la maison tout ce dont vous avez besoin, magnifiquement meublé et tout simplement cosy,
De villa is ruim en perfect voor groepen, De buitenruimte, vooral het barbecuegebied, was een hoogtepunt voor onze zomerse barbecues, Het lokale strand in Postira is slechts een korte rit verwijderd, wat het handig maakt
Ruim en goed uitgerust, deze villa voldeed aan al onze behoeften, De lokale stranden waren prachtig, en we genoten ervan het eiland te verkennen, De gastheren waren zeer gastvrij en lieten ons ons meteen thuis voelen
Bel endroit! Propre, confortable, et tout le nécessaire était là, La zone de barbecue est géniale pour les dîners au coucher de soleil, De plus, j'ai adoré pouvoir garer juste là, J'ai hâte de revenir !
