Villa Mar e Lagoa

This villa is magnificently located just a few steps from the magnificent Obidos lagoon and the beautiful surf beaches by the sea. Ideal with children! Villa Mar e Lagoa is modern and very well equipped. Everything is designed to ensure that you have a comfortable holiday. It has a swimming pool (which can be heated from April to October for 15 euros a day).

Enjoy the area's impressive nature on beautiful walks and take a break at one of the pleasant terraces nearby. You'll be served honest Portuguese specialities at typically Portuguese prices. You can do your shopping in the village's small local food shops. The shopkeepers will welcome you with open arms. In the surrounding area, you will find many magnificent sites such as Obidos, the monasteries of Alcobaca and Batalha or the palace of Mafra. A day trip to Lisbon, just an hour's drive away, is a must. In short, make the most of the magnificent Costa de Prata. You can visit several beaches, the beautiful Obidos lagoon and the ocean, all just a short walk away. Restaurants can be found 450m from the property and groceries 650m away in a number of charming local supermarkets. Bread rolls can be purchased 100 m away and large supermarkets can be found in Caldas da Rainha.

The holiday home has two floors and a private terrace. On the ground floor you will find a living room with a seating area, TV (Chromecast) and dining table. The kitchen is fully equipped and one of the en-suite bedrooms is also on the ground floor. On the upper floor are the other bedrooms, with an adjoining terrace and bathroom. By the private swimming pool, which is equipped with a child-friendly electric roller cover, you will find attractive sun loungers and a parasol. The roller cover can support a weight of up to 80 kg. The living room has a pellet stove. Both bathrooms have electric heating. In our garden, you can swim in the private heated pool. There are plenty of sun loungers to enjoy the Portuguese sun. Ample parking is available in the driveway in front of the garage or directly in front of the house. There is a handy barbecue on the terrace next to the kitchen.

For those chilly spring or autumn evenings, we provide plenty of pellets for the pellet stove.
Public bins for glass, paper/cardboard and residual waste are available within walking distance.
There is a large bedroom and en-suite bathroom on the ground floor. There are no steps on the ground floor.
The television in the living room has satellite, digital cable and a Chromecast connection. A DVD player is also available.
Oven, microwave, coffee machine, Dolce Gusto coffee maker, blender, electric cooker, pots, pans, oven dishes, fridge and freezer, washing machine, iron and ironing board, clotheshorse, central vacuum system, etc.
We kindly but firmly ask you not to exceed the maximum number of people allowed in the house. Our house has 6 sleeping places + 1 cot. Under no circumstances may more than 6 people + 1 baby spend the night in the house.
Mario, our key holder, will welcome you on arrival. He will give you the key and show you around the house. You can always contact Mario if you have any questions or comments. He will turn on the pool heating for you on request (for a fee). Mario will, of course, also be present when you leave.
