Balatonbereny is a small, quiet village on the western southern shore in Somogy County. In contrast to the more urbanised northern shore on the edge of Keszthely, we deliberately opted for this quiet little seaside resort directly on the flat southern shore, just a short distance from the romantic historic town of Keszthely. If this south-westernmost part of Lake Balaton has the most natural and, in our opinion, most beautiful shore area, it is also from here that you can enjoy the most beautiful views of the lake and the mountains opposite, the rustic volcanic landscape near Szigliget. Both from the shore and just a few hundred metres from the house in the numerous vineyards spared from phylloxera, from the so-called 'Great Berek', you have this fantastic view.
