The location of our flats in the province of Ragusa, in the extreme south-eastern part of Sicily, a few kilometres from the centre of Pozzallo and Ispica Mare is an excellent position for reaching the various centres with wonderful Baroque scenery recently declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site: Ragusa Ibla (40 km), Modica (35 km), Donnafugata Castle (50 km), Noto (30 km), the enchanting seaside resorts of Marina di Ragusa (40 km) and all the places of 'Commissario Montalbano' (the famous protagonist of the TV series based on Andrea Camilleri's novels). Also not to be underestimated is the beauty of the city of Pozzallo itself, which, in addition to offering a splendid Blue Flag sea, offers culinary and cultural experiences that allow one to discover and appreciate the true heart of Sicily. Furthermore, easy connections to the island of Malta are available from the port of Pozzallo. It is also possible to take day trips to the volcano Mount Etna (130 km), the Valley of the Temples and the Scala dei Turchi in Agrigento (163 km). You can also easily reach Syracuse (60 km) and Taormina (176 km), famous for their archaeological finds and Greek theatres.
