Great vacation apartment within walking distance of the center of Tavira. This pleasant apartment is on the ground floor of a small apartment complex. It is nicely furnished and has a lovely big terrace at the back. The complex has a fantastic swimming pool.
Tavira is known as one of the most picturesque towns of the Algarve. The old town has a peaceful, timeless atmosphere. It is wonderful to stroll through the narrow streets and along the banks of Rio Gilão. Beautiful sandy beaches are within reach. From Tavira, regular ferries go to Ilha de Tavira, a delightful dune island off the coast. The 18-hole golf course is located in Benamor (3.5 km). The supermarket is in 400m distance.
Pego do Inferno (8km) is a nature reserve. Über ein Holzgerüst gelangen Sie zum Fluss Asseca und einen eindrucksvollen Wasserfall. A short distance from your apartment you can take the train (700 m) or the bus (300 m). The train takes you for example to the center of Faro. Especially the historic old quarter Cidade Velha is a feast for the eyes. The monumental cathedral and the 17th century Igreja de Sao Francisco are in a maze of narrow cobbled streets.
