Distance to the ski area: 850 m Chalet Pierina is a well-equipped, spacious comfort chalet with sauna and open fireplace. It offers upscale living comfort and cosy chalet comfort. On the ground floor is the cosy living/dining room with sofa seating by the fireplace. Direct access to the terrace, with outdoor barbecue. The modern open-plan kitchen is well equipped. The chalet is located on the edge of the attractive ski resort of La Tzoumaz, ~500 m to the centre with supermarket incl. bakery and butcher's shop, restaurants, café, après-pubs, disco, childcare, ice rink, post office. The distance to the ski area - piste and cable car with connection Verbier/Quatre 4 Vallées - is about 850 m, which can be easily covered with the free ski bus (~50 m). The bus runs regularly, every 20-30 minutes in the mornings and afternoons during the ski season (exact timetable on request). The ski school and indoor swimming pool are also located in or near the cable car valley station. Summer info In the summer season, free use of the La Tzoumaz - Verbier mountain railway and VIP pass with other free offers such as mini golf and Verbier outdoor pool. In summer there are reduced service charges for electricity + heating + water (May to September). The chalet has garden furniture and a barbecue. It offers a wide range of activities such as hiking, mountaineering, mountain biking, climbing, paragliding, tennis, golf -in Verbier, Sion or Sierre- or fishing. In La Tzoumaz there is the Trail of the Senses at an altitude of 1700 metres, with 12 'sensory stations' and an exhibition on the regional flora and fauna. Pleasant walks, e.g. sections of the typical Valais 'bisses' (bisses) waterways. The Bisse de Saxon leads from La Tzoumaz via Nendaz to Vercorin. Total trail network of around 150 km. A wide range of excursion options thanks to its location at the crossroads of Switzerland, France and Italy.
