10 person holiday home in Follafoss-By Traum

Very nice landlord (communication was great, speaks good German), well-equipped kitchen, whirlpool for 2 people, walk-in refrigerator with plenty of space, beautiful view of the fjord, good fishing opportunities from the shore and also from the boat! Deer were regularly seen behind the house! The landlord's cats also won our hearts! We had a great time there!

If you have consciously chosen this beautiful area, as we did, to go fishing and enjoy peace and quiet, you will not be disappointed. The house is really big, superbly equipped: for the very first time, for example, we had a large walk-in refrigerator and a whirlpool at our disposal! / Anyone who wants to can easily find a quiet corner for themselves - inside and outside: on the beautiful wooden terraces, in the hammocks and under the magnificent large oak tree. From there you can watch the pets (cats), from the living room and the downstairs bedroom you can reliably see deer and cranes grazing/eating and/or courting on the large meadow behind the house. It was probably too warm for the moose that normally come to visit there, so they are said to be further up the mountain (we didn't look for them there) instead we ate moose meat for the first time, which we were able to buy from the landlord. / The fact that Arnt, the landlord, lives on the same property was a bit unusual for us, but very practical, because he is very pleasant, kind and helpful, does practically everything possible & even speaks German, / Oh yes - briefly about fishing: / We caught enough fish - cod, pollock, coalfish and haddock - it was still too early for mackerel,,, / Only the jetty, which is within easy walking distance, could be a bit more convenient = safer,,, But there is a bathing area and a river inlet right next to it, in which (or,, when it is as dry as this summer, through which) you can climb long distances over stones / walk on headlands,,,

very good wood stove, but unfortunately no other heat source, / good kitchen equipment
