The townscape of Niederehe is dominated by the former monastery and the monastery church, the oldest parts of which date back to the 12th century.
In the immediate vicinity are the charming Kalkeifel cycle path and beautiful hiking trails, including the premium hiking trail "Eifelsteig" and, for crime fans, the Eifel Crime Trail.
