In the Oberpauler house
Welcome to Haus Oberpauler
We look forward to welcoming you to our new holiday apartments.
A brief history of our house:
Built in 1848 as a farmhouse in the St. Veit district.
As early as the late 1950s, a small holiday apartment was rented to vacationers. At that time, it only had running cold water and was therefore only suitable for the summer months.
In the 1960s, the installation of central oil heating increased comfort and allowed for year-round rentals.
In 1948, the northern part of the house was extended. In 1966, the southern part was expanded, creating four new guest rooms.
Fifty years later, in the summer of 2016, the house underwent what was probably the most extensive renovation in its almost 170-year history. The upper floor and attic were completely renovated and adapted to modern needs without fundamentally altering the exterior appearance. Many original beams from 1848 were even incorporated into the new holiday apartments.
