Villa Pergo is a charming old country villa dating back to 1640, owned by an olive oil producer. It is a large and spacious property, and its thick walls provide excellent protection from the hot summer sun.
The villa was recently restored (in June 2017), preserving all its original features. Due to a promise the owner made to his parents, he left all the rooms, including the bedrooms and bathrooms, untouched. However, the villa offers all modern comforts, such as air conditioning throughout (except on the ground floor, which can be quite cool in summer), Wi-Fi internet access both indoors and outdoors, and central heating.
Accommodation: The villa is 350 square meters and can accommodate 11+1 people in 6 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms. It is spread over three levels:
Ground Floor: The ground floor contains a small apartment with a kitchenette, a double bedroom, and a bathroom with a shower. The apartment is only accessible from the outside. It does not have air conditioning because it is quite cool.
First Floor: From the main entrance on the ground floor, a staircase leads to the first floor. This level comprises one double bedroom, one bathroom with shower, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, and a living room in the Luigi Filippo style.
Second Floor: Another staircase leads to the second floor with four additional bedrooms: three double bedrooms and one with a queen-size bed. Also on this floor are a bathroom with shower and a second living room.
The owners, who are animal lovers, live in part of the villa and have a German Shepherd that is truly sweet and gentle. They are always available but discreetly unobtrusive when not needed.
