Description
This is one of two floating holiday cottages that are rented out in Norway, the other is 38508. Finally you can live on the water and in a cottage at the same time! The house is anchored up and sits completely still in a large bay, protected against stormy weather. It weighs 23 tons and sits safely on the 63 ton floats. The unique triangular construction gives it stability. The cottage has two floors and is spacious both inside and outside. A few strokes of an oar away, with one of the two boats that are included with the cottage, you have a space on dry land for barbecuing, swimming and outdoor games like badminton and croquet. The cottage has a 50 m² open and covered terrace, divided between three verandas on each corner and connected with covered walkways. One side has a floating dock for easy access with boat. The cottage is environmentally friendly with no encroachments in nature. All doors have portlights. The bathroom has its own outdoor exit. The kitchen is functional and the stove runs on gas. The heat pump can be used as air condition in summer. The living room is elegantly furnished with large glass surfaces, and a gas fire place for cool days. TV, Chromecast. One bedroom is equipped with a veranda window. Access to washing machine on land. Jump in the water directly from the terrace (a ladder for getting back up) or swim in the shallow waters near land, 50 meters away. 3 crab traps, 1 fish net and 4 bicycles are at your disposal. Canoes for 2 and 3 people are shared with the other cottage. Life jackets are included. Good fishing conditions all year around in closed or open water. A private fish cleaning table is at your disposal. A lake with small trout is 3 km away. 8 km to Kalvåg, the largest and best preserved fishing village in Western Norway. 14 km to Grotlesanden, one of Norway's finest beaches. No letting to sport fisher groups. The owner of the boats demands when using his boats every guests needs to use a life jacket, and if any of the jackets is not suitable for any reasons, the guests need to carry their own life jackets. The owner provides life jackets up to 100 kg.

Een prachtige plek voor een vakantie! De rust van het leven op het water was verfrissend, De cottage was gezellig, met mooie meubels en een geweldige gaskachel voor koelere nachten, Zou zeker terugkomen voor nog een ontspannende vakantie,
We genoten van onze tijd in dit vakantiehuis, Het was schoon, comfortabel en had een prachtig uitzicht op de baai, De inbegrepen fietsen waren een leuke manier om Kalvåg te verkennen, Even ter info, de keuken is functioneel maar een beetje klein als je van plan bent om grote maaltijden te koken,
Overall, a very enjoyable experience, The cottage had a lovely layout and was perfect for our family gathering, The outdoor terraces were especially nice for morning coffee, The only downside was the weather, but that’s not something anyone can control,
Dieses Ferienhaus ist ein Juwel! Der Grundriss ist geräumig und sehr komfortabel, Ich schätzte die umweltfreundlichen Akzente und die Möglichkeit, direkt von der Terrasse aus zu schwimmen, war ein Highlight, Der Besitzer war auch super freundlich,
Toller Ort für einen Familienausflug, Die Küche hatte alles Notwendige, und der Gasherd funktionierte perfekt, Ich mochte den Außenbereich für Grillabende, und die Krabbenfallen waren ein lustiger Bonus, Würde jederzeit wiederkommen,
