In Skirö, known as Småland's garden due to the beautiful nature, the hilly landscape and the many lakes, lies this small cozy cottage. On a larger farm plot, about 500 meters from the beautiful lake Innersjön you will find the cottage of 35m2 with room for up to 4 people (with two sleeping in a sofa bed in the living room) The cottage is small and simple but has everything you need. A bedroom, combined living and dining room, a small kitchen and a spacious bathroom. Here you have an excellent location to explore this beautiful part of Småland. Down by the inner lake, about 800 meters away from the cottage, there is a rowing boat that is included in the rent which you use to advantage to discover and enjoy the beautiful lake nearby. At about 200m distance from the cottage there are hiking trails for those who like to discover on foot. In about an hour's drive you reach places like Vimmerby, Nässjö and Växjö which are excellent excursion destinations with a lot to discover. Such as Astrid Lindgrensvärd in Vimmerby, or the cycling trails Astrid Lindgrenleden where you can discover the places where the films were shot. In Växjö, there are plenty of restaurants, cafés and shopping, including a restaurant with a Michelin star. The area offers a lot for all tastes simply.

Een charmant vakantiehuisje! De tuin was geweldig voor barbecues en de kinderen hadden genoeg ruimte om rond te rennen. We waardeerden de goed uitgeruste keuken en de handige magnetron. Op slechts een korte rit van Växjö, waar we geweldige eetgelegenheden vonden.
Deze plek overtrof onze verwachtingen! Het interieur was charmant en de buitenruimte was perfect om van de frisse lucht te genieten, We maakten volop gebruik van de roeiboot bij het meer, Een echte verborgen schat in Småland!
Over het algemeen een fatsoenlijke plek voor een gezinsuitje, De hytte was functioneel, hoewel het een beetje krap was voor vier volwassenen, De nabijheid van Övrasjön Strand was fijn, en de omgeving voelde erg vredig aan, Verwacht gewoon geen luxe!
This holiday home is quite functional and meets the basic needs for a short stay, It was clean and tidy upon arrival, and the layout worked well for us, The kitchen had enough utensils for simple meals, and the living area was decent for relaxing, While it’s not the most luxurious place, its proximity to Övrasjön Beach made it easy to enjoy some outdoor time, We appreciated the quietness of the area, which allowed for a restful night’s sleep, If you're looking for a straightforward and practical place to stay, this fits the bill,

We enjoyed our stay, although the cottage was smaller than expected, The location made up for it, with beautiful lakes and hiking paths just a stone's throw away, It was a solid choice for a short vacation,
