In the heart of the charming old cottage and villa area of Sandskogen, between Löddeköpinge and Barsebäckshamn, lies this fresh and modernly renovated cottage. Even though it’s only been a few minutes since leaving the E6 highway between Lund and Landskrona, you’ll immediately notice the calm and the sound of birds chirping from the surrounding pine forest. The cottage is located on a plot next to another cottage we also rent out (9774). This cottage, with the character of a mini-villa, features a large wooden deck perfect for barbecue dinners and enjoying sunsets. Beautiful bushes and plants decorate the exterior. Youth groups are not permitted! The cottage has been continuously renovated to a high modern standard (completed in 2025) and is furnished with a high-comfort double bed, a spacious dining area in the winter-insulated conservatory, and a living room with a small wood-burning stove. The kitchen is situated between the living room and the conservatory and is both tasteful and practical. The bathroom is of high quality and also spacious! From the cottage, it only takes a few minutes by bike or foot to reach the illuminated trail in Sandskogen’s recreational area, or to the nearby Lödde River for fishing or canoeing. You can cycle the 5 kilometers down to Barsebäckshamn by the sea for a swim or a fish lunch at the local harbor restaurant. Here you’ll also find a lovely shallow sandy beach, grassy areas, and a swimming pier next to Barsebäck's camping area. Just a stone’s throw away is one of southern Sweden’s finest golf courses, Barsebäck Golf & Country Club, with its 36 holes. If you want to explore the surroundings in western Skåne, you can visit the long sand dunes of Bjärred and Lomma, perfect for beach days, or the cultural city of Lund and Malmö a few miles further south. To the north lies the Järavallen nature reserve with beautiful beech forests, sheep pastures, and excellent barbecue areas by the Saxtorp lakes. The shopping center "Centrum Syd," with a wide selection of shops, grocery stores, and restaurants, is conveniently located just a few minutes from the cottage. GOOD TO KNOW: Electricity is included up to SEK 500. If the cost exceeds this amount, the owner will charge extra. Currently, there are still renovation materials on the back lawn; entering this area is at your own risk. The basement is private and must not be accessed. Corporate bookings with more than 2 people are not allowed for this cottage. Bring your own bed linens. Guests must clean the cottage before departure.
