Mjällby, which is just over 3 km from the house, has a good grocery store, pharmacy and gas station, but Sölvesborg, which is the main town in Listerlandet, is a small-town idyll with shopping and attractions such as the castle and the pedestrian and bicycle bridge 760 meters over Ljungaviken.
