Nice and pleasant accommodation near the sea, swimming area and archipelago Welcome to a nice and fresh accommodation in an annex building with large private balcony areas, lawn, sea view and nice swimming area with lovely salty swimming. A nice place to enjoy the best of northern Bohuslän both from land and sea, the proximity to the sea makes it easy to take part in the various islands and beaches in the area via kayaking. The accommodation is located in the small town of Gerlesborg, which is widely known as an artists' village and cultural center with both an art school, stonemasonry, exhibitions, concerts. You can also take various artistic courses. The area has also become known and popular in recent years for those who want to try rock climbing in various degrees of difficulty. The accommodation is well located for day trips to other charming coastal communities both to the north and south. The property with its annex is located with a view of the sea and Långekärr's nice swimming area, your annex's entrance is accessed via one of the annex's balcony areas. Once inside, you are greeted by a homely, cozy environment with a combined kitchen and living room. The kitchen area has a stove, microwave, fridge/freezer and coffee maker, the living room is furnished with a nice sofa group. Bedroom with bunk beds, bathroom with underfloor heating and shower. A cozy sleeping loft (ceiling height 95 cm) with a double bed is reached via a fold-down staircase. From the living room, you can open large double doors out onto the patio area, start the day by going down to the swimming areas and taking a dip, then have a long, lovely breakfast on the patio area or in the evening, you can grill a good meal, play a game on the surrounding lawn and just enjoy summer and sun. A washing machine can be borrowed by contacting the annexe's owner. The accommodation has fiber connection. Bovallstrand is a nice old fishing village and with its location right by the sea, salt water swimming is a given activity and here you will also find the famous Badholmarna which is one of Bohuslän's finest bathing spots suitable for both swimming and fishing. The settlement has much preserved from when shipping, fishing and stonemasonry flourished which has given Bovallstrand its nice atmosphere. In the surrounding area there are more nice and worth visiting archipelago communities such as Smögen and Fjällbacka, there is also a zoo called Nordens Ark where you can meet around 80 of the world's endangered animals. The beautiful nature and the opportunity to meet animals such as wolves, snow leopards or to come face to face with the world's largest cat, the Amur tiger, make the zoo a very popular excursion destination.
