Welcome to a rural charming red cottage with white knots where you can glimpse both moose and deer from the plot or the forest behind the house. This accommodation is perfect for a family or group of 6-7 people who want to be close to several beautiful lakes, beautiful nature and cozy places. You can easily reach Borenshult and Motala's fine cycle paths. You are also close to Lake Boren with several bathing coves. Please note that his house is not for rent to company bookings The house is the village's first telegraph, but has since been carefully renovated and has a very homely and warm feeling. There is a patio with plenty of seating. In front of the main entrance grows a gazebo for classic Swedish coffee. You are welcomed into a bright hall. You have the kitchen directly to the right. Here both new and old meet. All appliances are new and everything is very fresh. The stove is an old wood stove that can crackle well in the fall. The house can be booked all year round and there is much to offer in the local area. To the left, the living room opens up with a TV corner and sofa. The house's first bedroom is next door with a 180 cm double bed. The style is rural charm where the old meets the new. The bathroom is new and has a large shower cubicle, sink and toilet. At the main entrance there is a washing machine and exit to the garden. The stairs up are somewhat steep, so be careful if you are elderly or have small children. Up here is another bedroom with a 180 cm bed. The family room also has a TV corner with a sofa bed of 140 cm and an extra bed of 100 cm wide. The house shares land with the house owners who live in the house next door. The cat Måns guards the yard and likes to be petted, but he must not be dragged into the house. Only 5 minutes by car you will reach Borenshult's locks. This is a must-visit and it is also Göta Kanal's second largest lock staircase. It consists of five linked locks and is a major tourist destination in Motala. In the middle lock, two men have carved a memory for posterity. In the town of Motala there is much to see and do. It is a lake town with history and every year over 20,000 people gather to cycle the Vätternrundan. A warm welcome to a cozy cottage in Östergötland.

Attention: The stairs to the upper floor are very steep!!
The house has an incredible charm, wonderfully furnished, old & new wonderfully combined,
Ruim en goed uitgerust voor onze familievakantie, De locatie was perfect om nabijgelegen meren en fietspaden te verkennen, met Borenshult's sluizen op slechts een korte rit afstand,
Charmant huisje met een gezellige sfeer, Genoten van de vredige omgeving en herten in de tuin gespot,
Het huis was erg mooi en comfortabel, We hebben van ons verblijf genoten,
We had a pleasant stay at this cottage, It was clean and well-maintained, providing ample space for our group, The steep stairs were a bit of a challenge for the little ones, but overall, it was a nice experience, The nearby dining options were a plus!
