There is peace and quiet here, picturesque landscapes and you are not far from famous sights because there are good transport connections here. On the highway that runs along the coast you can easily reach many cities such as Pisa, Lucca, Rome or Etruscan archaeological sites such as Roselle, Populonia...
The sea can be reached quickly on a straight route. Follonica beach is accessible almost everywhere and is surrounded by pine trees. Beautiful swimming spots can also be found in Punta Ala, Castiglione della Pescaia or in the Bay of Baratti. 7 km away is the lake Lago dell’ Accessa.
