This over 100-year-old house offers 110 square meters of living space for up to five guests. It features a ground-floor bedroom (with a balcony) and two attic bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a sofa bed, as well as a bathroom on the ground floor. The ground floor is approximately 90 square meters. The attic (with a ceiling height of 1.90 meters), accessible via a relatively steep staircase, has two separate rooms with an anteroom. The simple attic bedrooms are uninsulated but have heating, and two fans are available for use in the summer. This holiday home is not comparable to newly renovated vacation rentals. It has the character and charm of a property that reflects its age and is ideal for those who appreciate unique accommodations. It has a personal touch, with artwork on the walls and well-stocked bookshelves with multilingual literature and non-fiction.

The house is suitable for a family vacation but also very cozy for two. You have a lovely view from the balcony of the natural garden, where you will find herbs and flowers. The garden, approximately 300 square meters, also offers a covered gazebo for rainy days and a barbecue area, ideal for cozy evenings. There are sunny and shady spots.
The eat-in kitchen with an extendable dining table is equipped with a kitchenette, dishwasher, refrigerator, gas stove with oven, kettle, and toaster. Ample dishes and cookware are also provided. A soapstone stove provides cozy warmth on cool evenings.
The house is non-smoking; however, smoking is permitted on the balcony and in the garden. The house has wooden floors and is furnished with unique pieces. There is artwork on the walls and bookshelves with multilingual books. The balcony room faces south.
Long-term rentals are possible upon request. Wi-Fi is available. Bed linens and towels are provided and included in the price.
The town of Lychen levies a tourist tax. During peak season, it is €2 per person; during off-peak season, it is €1.50 per person over 14 years of age. This amount is collected separately in cash.
