The house is also an excellent starting point for exciting trips to e.g. Copenhagen and other parts of Zealand. Visit Gilleleje which offers rich opportunities for shopping and restaurants. North Zealand is an attractive holiday area with beautiful beaches and charming fishing villages. Along the northern coast of Zealand you will find child-friendly beaches. Take a trip to e.g. the art museum Louisiana in Humlebæk, Karen Blixen's house, Rungstedlund, the amusement park Nordsjælland Sommerpark, Frederiksborg Castle and of course Kronborg Castle in Elsinore. Or how about a day trip to Copenhagen where you can enjoy the views atop Rundetårn or atop the 86 m tall twisted tower of Our Saviour's Church or take a walk between the flowerbeds in Tivoli Gardens.
