8 person holiday home in Ølsted-By Traum
Uniquely designed by an architect to maximize a magnificent panoramic view over the Roskilde Fjord, this stunning holiday home is set on a secluded 1,890 m² natural plot just 80 meters from the water. Located only 15 to 20 minutes by car from one of Denmark's finest sandy beaches in Tisvilde, the property blends striking aesthetics with ultimate comfort. Inside, the home is built from premium materials throughout, featuring smooth nanotech-treated kitchen surfaces, warm wooden flooring, and two luxurious bathrooms with underfloor heating (one boasting an elegant designer bathtub). The layout is smartly divided into two distinct sleeping wings—each with its own bathroom—making it exceptionally well-suited for two families or generations traveling together. In total, the house accommodates up to eight guests across four bedrooms (three with double beds and one room with two single beds, where one daybed measures 170 cm in length). At the heart of the home, the spacious open-plan kitchen and living area is flooded with natural light from large windows that frame the sweeping views across the water toward the Hornsherred peninsula. For indoor entertainment, a dedicated activity room features a table tennis table (remember to bring your own bats and balls) and a game console. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric cooker, fridge-freezer, microwave, extractor hood, coffee maker, dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer. Outdoors, the property offers generous open and covered terraces facing the water—ideal for relaxing barbecues—alongside a convenient carport and an efficient air-to-water heat pump system. Please note: Rentals are restricted, and the property is not available for youth groups.A refundable deposit may be charged before check-in to cover utilities and additional services. It is adjusted to actual usage, and any remaining balance is refunded within 21 days after checkout.
