A lovely holiday home built in the style of a traditional fisherman's cabin (rorbu), offering great views and easy access to the many fishing spots in the fish-rich Harøyfjorden right outside. This unit is one of four built in 2017. The interior features light, pleasant colors. The main floor has a spacious living room with an open-plan kitchen area and panoramic windows overlooking Samfjorden. All bedrooms and the 20-square-meter loft are furnished with single beds (frame mattresses) that can be pushed together to form double beds. Bed linen and towels are available for rent. The lower level features a maritime-style recreation room with a kitchenette and a long table. This area also offers storage space for outerwear and fishing gear, as well as a 300-liter freezer. Insulated sliding doors in the recreation room open onto the terrace and fjord when the weather permits. There is a large terrace at the rear of the main floor and a smaller one at the front. The house offers high-speed fiber-optic Wi-Fi with a capacity of 150 Mbps. Satellite TV (Astra1) provides European channels in addition to Norwegian ones. The nearest town is Brattvåg, which offers a full range of services; it is a 10-minute drive or a 1–2 minute boat ride straight across the fjord. It takes 40 minutes by car to reach the Moa shopping center and 50 minutes to Ålesund, home to the Atlantic Sea Park (Atlanterhavsparken). The cabins are not arranged in a straight row but are positioned to be slightly offset from one another. About 600 meters behind the holiday home, a trail leads up to the mountain Hellandshornet (886 m above sea level), offering 360-degree views. Other nearby mountains include Keipen (916 m) and Storfjellet (950 m)—excellent destinations for summit hikes. Alternatively, you can take a walk along the forest road, located 1 km from the holiday home, and enjoy the local scenery. A marked hiking trail—part of the "Stikk ut" program can be found 600 meters from the property. You can swim directly from the premises or at a sandy beach with a gently sloping seabed, located 300 meters away. Parking is available at the holiday home or on the breakwater 50 meters away. The Stordalselva river, known for salmon and trout, is 50 km away. Synnalandsvatnet lake is 12 km away, and Fannedalsvatnet lake is 15 km away. Outside the holiday home, there is a private small-boat marina (40 m away) with space for the rental boats. A dedicated, spacious room for fish filleting—featuring running water, lighting, a 300-liter freezer, and storage for fishing gear—is located at the rear of the holiday home/fishing cabin, beneath the deck. There is also an additional fish-processing room just 2 meters away. Excellent saltwater fishing available just a short distance from the holiday home, with many great fishing spots in the fjord. Different fish species migrate into the area throughout the season.
