In the forests of northern Sweden, you have the opportunity to stay in a spacious 19th-century villa in Västanede, just outside central Kälarne, located midway between Östersund and Sundsvall in Jämtland County. This accommodation offers large social areas, beautiful views over Lake Hemsjön, and a stunning natural environment ideal for outdoor activities and relaxation. The idyllic property includes a private pond created by the owner only a few meters from the house, with fishing opportunities. Bräcke municipality is also known for having some of Sweden’s finest fishing waters. Only 300 meters from the house is a lake with a boat mooring, where it is possible to rent a boat and outboard motor directly from the owner on site. A warm welcome to this paradise. You will be staying in a very large house spread over two floors. On the ground floor there is a pleasant kitchen with a large dining area, a spacious living room connected to a bedroom with two beds, and a bathroom with shower and washing machine near the entrance. Upstairs you will find five bedrooms, where one bedroom must be passed through to reach another, as well as a bathroom with shower and toilet. There is a lovely balcony where you can enjoy the beautiful view, and by the entrance there is a covered terrace. The owners live on the same property, and boat rental is arranged directly with them on site. If you wish to charge your electric car, this is possible provided you pay the owner on site. Electricity used for charging an electric car is not included in the rental price. Explore everything Kälarne has to offer. Bring a picnic and go cycling or hiking in the forest, paddle and fish in the hundreds of lakes nearby, or simply enjoy the fresh air and peaceful surroundings.
