The holiday home "NATÜRlich Wassermühle" has been freshly renovated and tastefully and elegantly designed by a professional designer. First mentioned in 1844, this historic watermill is the ideal vacation retreat for large families and couples traveling together who want to enjoy a relaxing break from everyday life in the beautiful Schlei region. The house is situated in a quiet location, and the center of Kappeln is just a short walk away. The brand-new furnishings combine elements of shabby chic country style with modern comforts. The house offers accommodation for 5-8 guests in four individually furnished bedrooms.
Two large living rooms provide ample space and comfort for larger families or couples traveling together. The wood-burning stove ensures cozy warmth even during the colder months. For entertainment, there is free Wi-Fi, three flat-screen TVs (each with a DVD player), a Wii, a hi-fi system, and an iPod docking station. Even on rainy days, you can enjoy the expansive views of nature and the park-like garden with its large pond from the two conservatories. Sunny hours can be spent at your leisure in one of the several outdoor seating areas – whether on the lounge furniture right by the pond or in a beach chair on the lovingly landscaped terrace: every guest will find their favorite spot here. The spacious grounds are perfect for younger guests: a lovely playhouse, fruit trees, and plenty of lawn invite them to play, climb, romp, and simply be a child, and four-legged friends will also find plenty of room to roam. Wellness enthusiasts will also be delighted, as the "NATÜRlich Wassermühle" holiday home also features a sauna.
The garden of the historic watermill became famous as a filming location for the popular ZDF television series "Der Landarzt" (The Country Doctor), as police officer Sven Olsen lived here in "Deekelsen."
