The general stores and restaurants in Axat are at a distance of 12 km, and there is a very popular Sunday morning farmer's market at Esperaza (35km). Many old Cather castles are in the area, together with extensive vineyards with their own cellars. Perpignan and Carcassonne are both around 70km away.
