The chalet is set on a picturesquely situated chalet park, not far from the centre of the small village of Hohentauern in the Murtal holiday region in Styria, on the Triebener-Tauern Pass in the Rottenmanner Tauern. Enjoy the impressive, unspoilt nature both in summer and winter!

The chaletpark is located at approx. 1,200 meters above sea level, on a sunny slope and offers a beautiful view of the highest mountain in the Niedere Tauern, the Großer Bösenstein. The ski lift to the traditional family ski area Ski Hohentauern with 11 kilometers of pistes is only 200m away. This ski area presents itself with natural snow pistes, wide, perfectly groomed ski slopes and numerous deep snow variants.

Other popular ski areas in the holiday region Murtal include the Kreischberg/Murau ski area with 42 kilometers of first-class groomed pistes and the Lachtal ski area with 36 kilometers of pistes, which is located at over 2,000 meters above sea level and therefore offers a magnificent mountain panorama. The nearby Kaiserau ski area in Admont is ideal for beginners and offers 3 kilometers of pistes in all levels of difficulty.

Ski tourers and snowshoe hikers will find an Eldorado for their sporting passion right next to the chalet park. The nearest access to the cross-country ski trail is also only about 200 meters from the chalet park. Various hiking trails are right on the doorstep and the holiday region also offers a large selection of cycle paths and mountain bike tours. Summer is also known for the public swimming pools and the many bathing lakes such as the Gaishorn am See bathing lake and the Wald am Schoberpass leisure lake. The more than 200 days of sunshine a year and the snow-sure ski area make this area a perfect holiday region at any time of year!

Motorsport fans and motorcyclists also get their money's worth, as the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg is only around 35 kilometers away!
In the village of Hohentauern and the surrounding area there are various excursion destinations, plenty of shopping facilities and a good selection of restaurants!
