We felt very welcome at Rudi and Angela. The house was perfect for us as a family (kids aged 3 and 1), with two indoor playrooms (with lots of toys, books and puzzles), a fantastic garden with sandpit and trampoline, the shed with bicycles and the like and a playground for the children. door too. From Schoppen we could easily make cycling trips, running and walking. The house was so spacious that we could easily receive visitors. Angela and Rudi were always available if we wanted to know something or just to have a chat. The kitchen is well equipped. We have been there for two full weeks and we have never been bored. A few points to keep in mind: there is a church nearby which makes a lot of noise at 7am and there is at least one rooster nearby; for the garden you have to walk around the house; for shopping you have to drive a few km on beautiful roads and also for a lake; internet is not obvious, there is no (reliable) wifi and little telephone range inside, there were a number of places with reasonable reception inside and outside at the playground that went well too.
Very large holiday home with a nice garden and a playground of the municipality in front of the door. The house is fully furnished and ideal for large families with young children. There are 2 playrooms and many toys are provided. The garden is not directly attached to the house but is safely accessible for young children. The house has no wifi but we knew that in advance. Owners are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the holiday week.
Nice environment and friendly owners. However, we found it strange that you do not see a power meter with the position on arrival. We also found the garbage very expensive, this was 3 euros per bag (pedal bin). We also didn't think it was neat that half the way through the week 1 chair collapsed and we had to pay 18 euros afterwards. These chairs were rusted on the joints and even rusted through. To hide it had hammerite painted over it. Also during the week, the owners did not say anything that this would be deducted from the deposit. On departure it was even said if everything is fine you will get everything back. But still counted the chair and this while we are already home. Unfortunately I can't share pictures because I took those of the chairs. Very nice place
Very nice spacious and well maintained house. The small playground just opposite and all the games and bicycles available make it an ideal home for families.
We were received very kindly, while we had not saved 18.00 and our daughter also wanted the bottle first. We had plenty of time for that. The garden is around the back of the house of the owners, so we did not have the children in sight in the garden and so we always went to the garden. Furthermore, great house, clean, plenty of space and the amount of toys made it very successful for the children. Playground in front of the door also ideal, nice that the children from the school played there during the break, so there was a lot to experience. Village is small so the first bakery is car distance.
A bit old, but very clean and comfortable house. A lot of space. It is a pity that the garden does not immediately connect to the house. Square in front of the door with playground and petanque court is nice.
