From here you can ideally start your active or recreational holiday in the Vogtland. Hiking trails are in the immediate vicinity. We have completely renovated this building ourselves in many hours and converted it into a cosy holiday home. The predominantly natural materials used (wood, natural stone) give the house a unique cosiness. However, modern standards have not been sacrificed. The holiday home half is located on the left-hand side of the house. It is comfortably furnished and offers enough space for 4 people. The house was one of the first buildings to be built on the Gösselberg after the Second World War. It served as accommodation for families displaced by the war. We spent many hours completely renovating this building ourselves and converting it into a cosy holiday home. Stag and hen parties, male groups and youth groups are not permitted. We do not rent to male groups! The property is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. The Vogtland, one of the most beautiful low mountain ranges in Germany, invites its guests to an active and relaxing holiday. The extensive hiking network with the Vogtland Panoramaweg, the Höhensteig and the Kammweg is one of the most popular hiking regions in Germany. In winter, the Vogtland region is romantic, contemplative and very informal. Winter cloaks the mountains and valleys in white splendour and transforms them into a real winter paradise. 300 km of cross-country ski trails are available in the holiday region. Alpine skiers also get their money's worth. There is a practice slope for beginners in Mühlleithen and for those who want more action, Bublava, 5 km away, has 7 lifts and 1 chairlift. You can also enjoy the winter landscape on a horse-drawn carriage ride or a winter hike - whatever the season, Klingenthal is always worth a visit.
