If you like to be in nature, it is a bit disappointing. But you are very close to the center. It is also a good base from which to explore the region. In the center it is wonderful to enjoy on a terrace.
We have experienced our stay in Chaumont as pleasant. The apartment is in accordance with the photos on Belvilla, although the living room was more attractive in reality than in the photo. The furnishings and condition of all equipment is otherwise simple, but that does match the price/quality ratio. we want to include the duvets and pillows: they are very synthetic, so we often woke up sweating and therefore did not have an optimal night's sleep.

Functional apartment in the city center
Toilet and shower room smelled nasty, considerable. Both vinyl floors (sic) showed severe mold discolorations. I can show you the photos if you want. I lifted the vinyl in the toilet to see the mold below it, it had another molded vinyl below and there was a liquid that smelled enormously. This place should not be rent to people, the thought of it there would be little children in that place. The French find themselves so civilized, but they never mind those environments for themselves or worse for hosts renting that space, so what weird bug they have in their minds. Thinking this might be my last visit to France ever.
