Description
An old railway station in Beauraing Ardennes was converted into a holiday home for 9 people with 5 bedrooms, 2 of which are ensuites with bathrooms. There is both a barbeque and a plancha grill for a gala evening with loved ones.
The village is great for walks and bike rides. The village has a bakery, a butcher, a grocery store, and a pharmacy. The town centre of Pondrôme is only 100 m away and the river is 400 m away. You can eat at several restaurants in Pondrôme and buy your daily supplies as well.
The home has a well-equipped kitchen and a large furnished garden. Parking facility is available and the owner will provide you with a high chair and cot, as the property is child-friendly. A washing machine is also at your disposal.
Brussels South Charleroi Airport is 90 km away. Some trains still come to Beauraing, but Houyet is another station 13 km away. There are multiple bus stations in Beauraing so you can use public transport easily.

As a family with 4 children between the ages of six months and 11 years, we stayed at this station for a week. We had a great time. Inside is a lot of space and nice to sit and for the children to play. From the house you can walk straight into nature. Landlords speak French and are very nice.
well located house in the center of Pondrome, supermarket and butcher at 50 meters. Beauraing is 5 km away with supermarkets, cafes and restaurants (we ate at the Greek) very friendly owners, extensive explanation about the distribution of the cottage and all amenities. Beds made on arrival, the heating was already set up when we arrived, bathrooms also in order. It is not the most modern house but very cozy and everything is equipped. wooden bench has been moved to the dining table. You do not suffer from the trains and beautiful walks start from the house, we also did a nice walk in the parc of furfooz. tis a must

Kitchen and living space were not really clean on arrival, a mishmash of crockery and cutlery, lots of flies and not a single fly window and all in all no practical layout.

A nice accommodation. The noise from the trains is present but not excessively loud. The garden with lawn and the square in front of the house are nice places to relax outside.
