Luxurious Mansion in Aquitaine with Swimming Pool
Description
Surrounded by the hills of Dordogne river, this mansion in Port-Sainte-Foy-et-Ponchapt features a private swimming pool to enjoy a few laps and a garden to soak sunshine. It is pet-friendly and a group of 16 or families with children can stay comfortably.
The Saturday market is an enjoyable experience with market stalls of vegetables, wine, fruit, jam, bread and cheese, arts and crafts. Hiking and cycling are also possible along with canoeing and golf. You can visit Santiago de Compostela and Chateau de Vigiers at 20 km.
The furnished garden has stunning view of the surroundings. The kitchen is modern and the living-dining room with seating area and 8-seater dining table are perfect to enjoy family time. There is ample space on site for parking several cars. Electric cars cannot be charged on site, however, there is a charging point in the nearby village. The swimming pool is open from May to September. You can use the new petanque court.

Fantastically beautiful house, super quiet and well equipped with everything you need.
Superb and vast residence well equipped and very pleasant. The owners and their representative on site pay great attention to their guests.
What a surprise! The Corona crisis has made it difficult for us to continue our joint holiday week with 11 children and grandchildren in that beautiful and spacious house in the Dordogne? Fortunately. And we enjoyed together for a week in this great house. What a space for such a large group, located in a beautiful, quiet area in the middle of nature. Equipped with all comforts, facilities, a nice swimming pool and with an eye for all kinds of details, including a wealth of toys for the youngest. Our appreciation for the way in which new is naturally intertwined with old in the house to create a beautiful and modern whole that meets our high expectations. This certainly also applies to the interior of the house in a classic yet modern style. Great hospitality that we were able to enjoy to the fullest.

This was a wonderful property to spend a fabulous two weeks in. We were welcomed by Maitie who gave a tour of the house and also popped in during our styrofoam ensure all was well. So much thought has gone into making this an ideal property to rent. Care and attention has been used in every detail. The kitchen is fabulous for large groups and so well stocked - the outside area and pool are spacious with glorious views - wonderful to see deer and birds. The garden is so pretty with fruit trees and flowers abundant. I don’t think I have had a more comfortable nights sleep the beds are all of an extremely high standard as are are all the fixtures and fittings. I couldn’t recommend this property highly enough- thank you for a wonderful holiday.
