Our stay in this house in Benneckenstein was fantastic. Benneckenstein is a quiet village compared to Braunlage (which is much more touristy). is). We stayed in the apartment for 4 nights and were very satisfied. Due to its age, the house has its own charm. The landlords are very nice and handing over the keys as well as the stay went without any problems. The pictures with the description of the property speak for themselves: 3 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, a bathroom with tub and separate shower offer plenty of space on the 1st floor. The kitchen is new and well equipped. You don't have to worry about a parking space and the spacious garden with seating area and grill invites you to linger. A shop with a bakery can be reached in less than 5 minutes on foot. We would be happy to come back

The bathroom is a bit small with a bathtub and shower. The TV is in the dining room, not in the living room as stated. Overall, the ceiling height in the apartment is quite low, taller people are likely to have difficulties there. There are paragraphs between the individual rooms, the apartment is less recommended for people with walking difficulties. We paid € 110 per night, that's a high price for the apartment.
