"Bij de Bakker" is a contemporary vacation home, located on a small recreation park in 't Groene Hart by the water.
Upon arrival you will be surprised by the location and atmosphere of the detached house (60m2) with two bedrooms suitable for four people. The cozy decor invites to 'n game at the dining table or a book by the cozy fireplace. French doors give access to the veranda and garden where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the polder landscape. The house is fully equipped and has everything for a relaxing vacation or successful workation in any season with nature and culture around the corner.
CITIES
Oud Ade is conveniently located for visiting cities. The center of Leiden is 5 km away. Within half an hour by car or train you are in Haarlem, Amsterdam and The Hague. Peace and quiet around your vacation home, but city life nearby. The ideal combination!
BOATING
Bij de Bakker is located in a water-rich environment. There is a direct connection to the Vennemeer, Braasemermeer, the Kaag and the canals of Leiden. There are plenty of possibilities for renting a boat. Cool off on the water on a summer evening, how nice is that?
CYCLING / WALKING
You step on the bike into the polder. For example, discover the view of the windmills and lakes during one of the routes through the rural area between the Braassemermeer and the Kagerplassen. Or choose a route along blooming bulb fields. Prefer a small tour by bike or walk? Of course, that's possible too.
MUSEA
There is a wide range of art and culture in the region. These lesser-known museums are also well worth a visit:
Naturalis, Voorlinden museum and gardens, Louwman Museum.
BEACHES
In sun or storm, the sea attracts. Then visit Noordwijk, Katwijk or the Wassenaarse Slag and enjoy wide beaches and cozy beach pavilions.

Ideaal voor een weekendje weg! De twee slaapkamers waren ruim en boden voldoende ruimte voor onze groep. De indeling van het huis en de buitenruimte bevielen ons goed: ideaal voor een kopje koffie met uitzicht in de ochtend. De korte rit naar het strand was ook een aangename verrassing.
Ik raad dit huisje ten zeerste aan! De eigenaren waren ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze zorgden ervoor dat we alles hadden wat we nodig hadden. De tuin was prachtig en we genoten van de zonsondergang terwijl we barbecueden. De nabijgelegen stranden waren ideaal voor een dagtochtje!
Een heerlijk vakantiehuis! De keuken was volledig uitgerust, wat het koken van onze maaltijden gemakkelijk maakte, We hebben ook genoten van barbecuen in de tuin, Het gebied is rustig en we hielden ervan om de nabijgelegen attracties zoals de Keukenhof en de lokale parken te verkennen, We zouden zeker terugkomen!
Very pleasant stay in a spotlessly clean holiday home, situated in a beautiful area along major access roads. Both Lydian and Dorien did their utmost to give me and the family a real homely feeling, which they succeeded in doing. Apart from the fact that it is a nice house, with all conceivable facilities, the extensive manual also showed us around well. This beautiful experience is definitely worth repeating. Once again, thank you very much, Lydian and Dorien.
Een perfect uitje voor natuurliefhebbers! Het uitzicht was adembenemend en we genoten van lange wandelingen in de omgeving. De gastheren waren vriendelijk en attent, waardoor ons verblijf nog aangenamer werd.
Een charmant toevluchtsoord! De inrichting was warm en uitnodigend, waardoor het voelde als een tweede thuis. We vonden vooral de rust van de omgeving geweldig. Een geweldige plek om te ontspannen na een bezoek aan nabijgelegen attracties zoals Keukenhof.
