The ferry to Texel
In less than 15 minutes, drive to Den Helder, where the ferry takes you to Texel in 20 minutes. This largest Wadden Island invites you to a day full of adventure. Explore the picturesque villages, discover nature reserves like Slufter, and visit the seal sanctuary Ecoma e. Cycling on Texel is highly recommended, with perfectly maintained cycle paths leading through forests, dunes, and along the coast.

Breezand is a short distance from the wide sandy beaches of Julianadorp aan Zee, which are also easily accessible by bicycle via the Westeinde ferry. Whether relaxing in the sun, taking a refreshing dip, or walking along the surf, this beach has something for everyone. During the summer, beach pavilions offer cosy places to eat and drink, while in the winter, the beach is an oasis of calm. Julianadorp aan Zee has several restaurants and good shopping facilities.

Direct y from the holiday home, you can start beautiful cycling routes through the colourful bulb fields, quiet polder landscapes, and picturesque villages. Rental bikes can be delivered to the holiday home if required.
