We were here in the May holiday of 2022. The reception in the apartment on the day of arrival was already good. The hostess called us in advance to ask what time we would arrive and when we arrived she welcomed us warmly. The apartment was very spacious for the three of us. Our 8-year-old son had his own room including bathroom. The apartment was also neat and clean. The environment is really beautiful. As soon as you go out the door of the apartment there are literally several hiking trails that you can follow directly to get into nature. We have tried them all several times. Especially the hiking trail along the top to Todtnau or the route to Fahler Wasserfall is definitely recommended. Todtnau is a nice town to visit. You can eat and drink deliciously and there is also a lot to do, such as visiting the Todtnauer Wasserfall and the Hasenhorn Rodelbahn which is 3 km long! In addition, a visit to the Steinwasen Park in Oberried or a day trip to Freiburg is definitely worth it. We were here for 2 weeks, but were still not tired of the beautiful nature. We will definitely come back here again.
Ideal location to discover this magnificent region. Accommodation at the top, nothing is missing. Thank you to the owners for bringing us the croissants each morning!
Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub, eine sehr schöne Umgebung und ein sehr schönes Haus. Die Familie Knotz is with Rat and Tat zur Seite und sehr freundlich. Wir würden gerne wiederkommen.
A one word fantastic. Could also have been due to the weather though. Nice accommodation. Just nice and simple but with all the trimmings. This was the 4th time we came here and yet experience new things every time. Environment very nice for short or long routes, from the apartment or with the free bus. We enjoyed it again
Received super friendly on arrival. Owner started enthusiastically telling about the hiking possibilities and what else there was to see / do in the area. Accommodation is very neat and spacious enough for 4 people.
