Popular sights: World Heritage City of Gosslar, Samsonhütte in Sankt Andreasberg. Ski slopes can be reached in 15 minutes by car and cross-country ski runs directly from Lonau. Reservoirs with a sailing boat harbor, steamer trips or just swimming, and thermal baths are nearby.
