Hikers and athletes also get their money's worth in the national park area and enjoy the alpine fauna and flora.On dull weather days, visit the Tauern SPA in Kaprun or the Hohe Tauern National Park Center in Mittersill. The Hohe Tauern National Park offers stunning landscapes with crystal-clear lakes, blooming meadows, and waterfalls. The picturesque village of Hollersbach, at the valley's entrance, is a great starting point for hikes. Enjoy the village's herb garden and the "Hollidee" leisure facility with a natural bathing lake, sunbathing area, playground, beach volleyball court, skate park, and tennis courts. The Panoramabahn Kitzbühler Alpen connects to the famous Kitzbühel ski area in winter and offers scenic hikes and views in summer.
