For those who love snow, there are 75 kilometers of winter hiking trails on the family-friendly Aletsch plateau.
Betten is a small parish in the deanery of Brig in the canton of Valais and belongs to the municipality of Bettmeralp. In summer, the Bettmersee and the Märjelensee are available as options for a few relaxing hours by the water.
